Today's Guardian is reporting that Nani and Rooney are PSG bound for a total of £40m. I know the French source has no track record but this story does seem to be getting some legs. Not a bad deal, in my view, if it comes off and as long as the money is spent wisely.

Paulo, I wouldn't pay too much attention to this, possibly some substance to the Nani interest but I can't see Rooney leaving United.

25 Million for Rooney makes this rumor sound like pure fiction. 15 Million for Nani does sound about right though

3.) 16 Apr 2013
Seriously come on lads! Why would you believe any of this tabloid rubbish! Rooney is going no where Nani on the other hand quite possibly!

4.) 16 Apr 2013
It's Nonsense!

According to Miguel Delaney who is meant to have good sources at United and other places, PSG will make a formal bid for Rooney. The editor has confirmed PSG are interested and Rooney has just two years left on current deal.

One way or another his future will be decided this summer. Although the figures are fictional, the interest from PSG is very real.

Very difficult to place any sort of meaningful value on Rooney at the moment. Two years ago it would have been in excess of £40m but based purely on his performances this season £25 may be about right particularly if his best years are behind him.

Don't think so Paulo, new challenge for him will be great. But we cannot let him go cheaply, I think a minimum of £40m. Don't forget, he'll be worth a lot of money to PSG due to his marketability.

To be honest guy, s can you see Rooney wanting to play lower class football. PSG is the French version of Chelsea years ago when money bags Russian owner was buying anyone with legs. I think the writing is on the wall for Wazza. our new midfield enforcer. We can all speculate as who is coming and who is going. At the end of the day only one man will make a difference and that my friends is one Sir Alex Ferguson. let's end this season first before we speculate on next seasons line up. RockThe Red

. what u guys have 2 remember is Rooney ain't being sold 2 Wigan or Fulham etc where in his present form £25 million is a fair bid it's the likes of PSG, ANZHI etc, one of the super rich clubs who will pay £40 million for him. the reason Rooney will leave is because he will b asked 2 take a pay cut if he signed another contract. if he's worth £250k a week then John o' Shea was the best player in United history.

10.) 16 Apr 2013
I would never in a million years sell wazza, never mind for just over 20m

All the sh*t he gets is nonsense
He is the heart of man Utd

If we can get £40m for Rooney and £15m for Nani then that would be fantastic. The key, of course, is whether SAF believes Rooney has a positive contribution to make to our team or whether he thinks selling him would allow a strengthening of the team. All will be revealed in the Summer. The interesting thing is that a significant number of supporters would not be distraught if Rooney is sold, that would not have been the case two years ago.
Paulo.

12.) 17 Apr 2013
Wouldn't sell him for 40m either
For me it needs to be a mega huge offer to even consider letting him go
My fav player in world by far just because of his hunger and passion
How he can adapt positions
He would play anywhere for the team, that shows how much he loves his football and the club

13.) 17 Apr 2013
I love Rooney but I've got a feeling he could be sold this summer.
Hope they're planning to spend money on a striker and 1-2 midfielders if that's the case.

14.) 17 Apr 2013
Rooney is enigma - Fulham away; brilliant - won us the match, yet the vast MAJORITY of games - where's Wazza?
Going through the motions 6/7 (if lucky) out of 10 performance. Substandard IMO

15.) 17 Apr 2013
40mil for rooney alone still worth more in current market if they paid 35 mil for lucas whos proved nothing yet!

16.) 17 Apr 2013
Utter utter rubbish. !!!1
