Jagielka to be Moyes first signing once he takes over at United?

How about this also for a bit of insite.
Lets say Rooney does want to leave and is given permission to speak with other clubs, surely Spurs would be a good option. They need a striker, United want Bale, perhaps even Nani could go as part of a deal too.

Eds do you think this is a possibility?

Many thanks guys,

Paul

And we would want jagielka, why?
We have 5 centre backs all better than him.

2.) 09 May 2013
Let's see how many top players want to play for Moyes shall we.

Jagielka? Not a bad player but he would only be a squad player as don't think he is better than smalling, jones or Evans. But as for Rooney I have heard this rumour before seems a possibility. But I can't really see Rooney moving to spurs

4.) 09 May 2013
We have smalling jones evans vidic rio why on earth would we need an average centre back when we have these.

Total rubbish

Mu muf mufc ok

5.) 09 May 2013
Although that would be good for united to get bale can you really see rooney wanting to play for a team whom aren't even able to confirm champions league, plus how would they pay his wages.

on the jagielka rumour, he is a player whom I rate but I don't see where he would fit in as I think its one of our most solid positions with vidic, ferdinand, evans, jones, smalling not to mention the likes of keane wootton and thorpe coming through

Baines and Barkley are the only Everton players I'd look at.

Completely with you there Dan. barkley looks very promising for the future and of course baines will be linked to united although his defensive capability isn't reliable despite his ability going forward.

Spurs fan here, Blimey, I thought we got some mental posts on our page. Rooney to Spurs with Bale to Utd is a complete non starter because 1. Levy would never pay Rooney type wages and 2. Levy has also adopted SAFs tactic of not selling prize players to domestic rivals, hence Modric to Real despite Chavski putting in a slightly higher bid. Apart from that great post!

Moyes great

What do you guys think about Fellaini coming in to partner Carrick in midfield? At the 23 million buy out clause I think he'd be a good fit.

11.) 09 May 2013
Definitely no Fellaini!

Jagielka is good, but no better than our current (much younger) options such as Jones and Smalling.

12.) 09 May 2013
Fellaini can play off the main striker, he's played up front once or twice, he can play defensive midfield and a box to boxxer, He is a total bargain at 23m and I'm sure the new boss will already be thinking about it.
I think we still need a Scholes type player with guile and an eye for the killer pass. I think that any or all three of our winger could go, none have been up to par this season. However, it wouldn't surprise me if Anderson, Nani and co get a stay of execution for a half season or season to give Moyes a bedding in period. I expect Fellaini and one other world class player to come - Ronaldo, de Maria, Machisio. The biggest question for me is what happens to the back room staff. Rumours of Phil Neville and Paul Scholes to join the coaching staff are all over the press and blogs. Will Giggsy want to play for another manage, r for the first time in his professional career, at the ripe old age of 40. Will Eric Steele stay and continue the brilliant adaption to the EPL of DDG? What I like about Moyes is that he won't be shy of asking SAF's advice, whilst at the same time being his own man. I'm really happy we didn't go for "fly by night"Jose, for all his obvious talent! These are balanced by super egoistic faults that are unsightly for the manager of the greatest football team in the world.

Hopefully Moyes will give Kagawa a decent run of games. let's hope Moyes listens to Fergie about the summer targets he was hoping to get. And let's all hope that this Woodward fella does, nt think we can run MUFC on the budget Everton ran their club. Here, s to the future and welcome to the biggest club on earth Mr Moyes. Rock the red.

There is no reason to believe any Everton player would be making way their way to United. United are superior spot for spot and depth to depth.

Yeah!. like left back,
