Has anybody got any proper inside info on mata, I just can't see this happening i'm not getting my hopes again.

Cant see it either. People saying jose will allow it because we aren't a threat this season. Bit I highly doubt he'd be that short sited.

Mate the person who told me that United will only get fellani in the summer has told me about mata 2 weeks ago iv got him at 8-1 to join before feb

I posted this rumour last night and i'm starting to think the main reason for it is for sky and the media. United seniors denied the bid within 30 mins of the story breaking last night yet still the media push it. There will be an interest as he is a quality player but that doesn't mean much. I think the media are looking for their story to run until deadline day and they may have just found it. Another part of me also thinks that the tv coverage deal that sky etc pay to clubs could also include deadline day tv coverage. Small bonus payments for teams doing deals late on deadline day etc would encourage teams to hang on a bit with announcements and rack up public interest and of course, sky viewers.

@Kyle I think our buying Mata makes great sense especially as there are doubts cast over RVP Rooney and Kagawa. All who could play that role, the no.10.

More importantly what other pearls of wisdom does your mate have re signings ;)
