Good evening Ed002. Just a couple of quick questions. I recall you stating that the Rojo agent was in discussions with another team about a transfer, and the link with United was speculative. Has anything changed?
Also it's been reported that Juventus have given a second deadline date for the Vidal transfer of this Friday. Do you have any knowledge of this?

So we are crying out for defenders, this Rojo, who in my opinion is a quality with pace and bags of potential, is desperate to sign for us and we are haggling over 1/2 million or how much is paid upfront? Why is this even in the press? In the good old days we would know who we wanted and the deal would he done and no one would find out about until the lad is in a united shirt. It's incredibly frustrating

Mad1max, unfortunately this isn't the good old days, this is 2014, social media overload, transfer rumour websites, 24 hour news, sport dedicated TV and radio channels.

How the hell does anyone keep anything quiet these days?

Da, it's not that I don't like it (the rumours), but I'm sure I can't be the only one thinking that every single transfer we are involved with (supposedly) seems to drag out. We never used to have this problem with Gill
