One of my friend in Italy works for a well reputed newspaper over there. He said he can confirm that Vidal is very much interested in a move to United and its all up to Juventus now. United had a Bid of 35 million turned down.

And now they may bid around 40 Mill Hernandez for his services.
All the rumours like he passed a medical and terms agreed verbally r completely false.
He will give an update on Benatia later this eve.
Wait for that.

This man s usually very reliable and I m getting this Vidal related news from him for the first time, which had certain similarities with wat Ed002 is talking about.

Well I think that £40 million + Hernandez is a fair deal - they should (I hope) accept that. We could really do with a good £150 million spend over the next two weeks but when you spell it out like that it is so so so unlikely.

Juve don't want to sell and he's not asking for a transfer.

Not exactly a poor club as the press are making out

I don't think it will happen.

Gotta say as much as I'd love to Vidal in a Utd shirt - won't believe it until I see him tearing up and down the pitch on a Saturday!

Nell :
Well, Juve may not want him to leave, but as far as I am heard and I am informed Vidal would welcome a switch to OT.
Also as of today, he failed to commit his future at various occasions.
Fresh :
I too hope they accept the same. But I am hopeful on Benatia too. The update will be given today by my friend.

Fresh :
never mind my sayings. I I am informed and I just passed it here.
Its not just normal dumb rumours at least for me. And I can't see that
"so so unlikely" happening

Not heard anything about Vidal (suspect we can file him under the same heading as Sneijder, Thiago & Fabregas). however just heard a REAL rumour:

Heard this from a mate who works in the sports betting industry - Utd have offered personal terms that are acceptable to Marcos Rojo and have made an offer that is acceptable to Sporting.

The fly in the ointment however is Nani. The deal is £17m plus Nani on loan for the remainder of the season (with Utd covering his wages and an option to buy at the end of the season).

However Nani is non too thrilled about the prospect of Portuguese domestic football (something he thought he'd left behind years ago) and would much rather a move to Italy. His agent is sounding out Inter & Roma this week.

Unless Utd can stump up another £7m (making it a straight £24m cash deal) or convince Nani to go back to Sporting then no deal.

Since the Glazers took over in 2005 £382 million has been spent on the buying players. We've already spent £60 mill this summer. Do you really think they are going to splash the cash again?

Juve need the money they are an old club with great tradition but from a turnover perspective and bottom line nowhere near healthy as you imagine.

Lukeshaw: don't get me wrong I would love to see him in a united shirt and I hope your mate is 100 mph right. But woodwards incompetence in the transfer market doesn't fill me with confidence. If it's a player they really want why are they p###ing about over £5m. What does he expect when spouting off about breaking the transfer record?

Mate, I am not sure it will happen. But a bid will go thru and we will wait on for Juve. 3 days is all we got to wait to finish this :)
