Ed002 you said earlier in the month that Hummels remains the primary target for the CB postion if available but I've read a few pieces from who I would call decent journalists and they claim it is in fact Otamendi who is the preferred candidate at the moment.

Any idea if that's true?

i'd take otamendi all day over hummels. absolute beast of a defender and would mix well with the current argies in the squad. him and rojo would be a lethal partnership

We should go for garay also if possible and only be zabaleta short of the Argentina back 4.
