Nach73 - calm down mate - we - if the press are correct - were in the driving seat for Pedro - and in some reports I've read, we pulled out of the deal. And off he trots to Chelski, who in my humble opinion are welcome to him. Yes he's quick, yes he's won it all, in 2 VERY good teams. Not sure he is much better than what we've got, in areas we have good cover. Mane is at least PL proven, albeit for 1 season, and as Ed001 has said, Southampton really can't afford to lose him, so it makes no difference what amount of money is talked about.

Papers don't sign or negotiate for players, clubs do and we've done good business so far in this window. Trust in LVG, trust in the club, whether we sign anyone else or not, we will be there or thereabouts come May.

nach73 you need to understand that LVG has doubts about Pedro and that's why Utd have stalled and lost out to Chelsea.
LVG wants someone with more pace than Pedro.
It's annoying as I thought he would of been good for us but if we are messing about it is because we are not sure about the player as we have the money.

That's the thing with young talent, you just don't know what you will get???? Pedro is proven, Mane, Januzaj and Memphis could all be as good as Ronaldo or as bad as Obertan? pedro is a miss. mane will only sign if van dijk deal is off for Southampton evans and 10 million will get mane. he is decent but no man utd player. everyone is laughing at united. otimendi, fabregas, who else is gunner turn them down looks like they can't conclude deals

astar i'm not so sure they can't conclude deals considering this window and last year. sometimes things just don't happen for a multiple of possible reasons.
