Hey eds/all
Just a couple of questions if ed001/ed002 are free and get a chance to answer.thanks ed001 for the mane info too i hope we sign him.i think we can all see why LVG wanted him in the summer now.
Just wondering do ye think giggs will take over when LVG finishes up and are united preparing for that already?lastly is the reported united interest in youri teilemans genuine?thanks guys

{Ed002's Note - Manchester United are certainly not preparing for Giggs as the next manager. I think he could make a very good on-going continuity link for the next manager coming in but it would be a major surprise if it were Giggs to get the job.

Tielemans has attracted long-term interest from Chelsea with Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, Juventus, Napoli, Barcelona and Marseille all showing an interest in the past 9 months. Pleanty of other sides will have had him scouted. Chelsea have actively been speaking with his club since January 2014 but would even now need to send him on loan for, I imagine, at least a year or more. Atletico spoke with Anderlecht this summer and the player liked the idea of a move to Madrid but nothing could be resolved for a move at the time. The problem with a move to England is that he is certainly not ready to step right in to the first team at many of the more senior clubs. If he accepts that and a loan, then a move is possible. Whilst Barcelona, Arsenal and Chelsea may well all look to offers in January, a move before next summer is unlikely.}

That is good news about Giggs, I don't want him to be next manager. I hope we get Ancellotti or Pep with Pep being the main target.

Would those who watch him regularly say he is as good if not better than Dele Alli at this moment in time?

Mighty Red - Seriously he hasn't even taken charge of a game for Liverpool yet and you are crowing about a manager that has a win percentage of less than 50%, some of those games were in the Bundesliga 2 as well. I like Klopp don't get me wrong I think he is a character but I think the LFC job might be too big for him.

Or the expectations of the fans might be too much for him.

Haha you would think they have got Bill Shankley back and he has brought Lionel Messi and Ronaldo with him the way Liverpool fans (and some overreacting United fans) are talking.

I don't think the Liverpool job is too big for him, he might fit in with a mid table club, so he should be at home there.and if he does a bad job he might never get in with a big club.

Also with Klopp, its almost impossible to emulate what he did at Dortmund. Through a mixture of incredible scouting and incredible luck he built that team. It won't be as easy in England where the press seems to get wind of every player you are following.

I think Klopp will do well almost wherever he goes, including at Liverpool. That said, I don't think Liverpool are going to be a consistent threat in the competition for top 4 any time soon.

He is a good manager though, and I have no doubt he'll get them back up there if he's given time, control and backing.

I had hoped to see Klopp at United after LVG goes. It's not a case of being the best manager around, but I think he's the best manager around who plays the kind of football I fell in love with Utd for. Fast, committed, combative, with more intent to create chances than to keep possession aimlessly. Not quite the same style as SAF liked, but close, with a modern twist.
