Shane

Thanks, I hope they are quick and decisive. I felt yesterday that he had lost the dressing room.

I posted earlier that LVG's fall out with a senior person (a board member? ) as explained by the Eds could become significant if there is a decision to be made.

Taking a hunch I would say he be given a ultimatum to improve or else, he have around 5 games or so to show improvements

I definitely think that he will either be gone by end of the season or at the end of the season, I expect United to officially go after Pep in the next coming weeks

Sources, a few fans forums, they tend to be legit, to be honest doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that their a serious problem and with around 8/9 out of 10 fans calling for his head, his days are numbered.

I don't think LVG will handle an ultimatum as the board would hope. For the first time I hope he lives up to expectations and acts like the stubborn man he is, leaving them no choice but to drop the axe.

We need to be decisive. The league is still winnable, another month and it won't be.

Why di you lot want rid of lvg? Is it everything else or the style of football? I'm sure pep emplores pretty much the same style slow possesion based style. Why would you change to him, wouldn't you prefer an attacking coach?

I agree I think we can still win the league at this moment of time, it's up for the taking, problem is City and Arsenal are winning games and we can't afford to fall more than 9 points behind them (currently 4 points behind Arsenal)

Van Gaal might be stubborn but not daft, only way he go now if United board sack him which = pay out, this is this last "job" so he wants a nice pay day before he "retires" I still think he go and be a consultant for the Netherlands national team after this job

Also another point, has Giggs not spoken to Swansea yet incase he LVG is indeed sacked and is asked to take charge for the next 6 months.

The issue with me Paulo96 is the style we playing this season so far has been "bad" and the leaks of "unhappiness" coming out from certain players, I'm not one for sacking managers and believe you should be given a chance able to turn it around however their is a issue as their a "poison" and it's the manager, I said it once and I will keep saying it, LVG situation reminds me of Mourinho time of Madrid (without the influential agent)

I hope so too, I think with us going out of Europe (CL) and getting beat by no disrespect a "easy" team

This has been long overdue, if it doesn't happen then I be disappointed.

I hope not, the fan forums I usually go on are pretty reliable, I definitely think their will be some sort a emergency meeting tomorrow, again it could be a ultimatum situation ie book your ideas or your out situation, I hope he get sacked personally and fingers crossed it is that.

I was LvG's biggest supporter up to the last week, giving him the benefit of the doubt because he's been brought in to rebuild more than anything else; however, I think he's lost the dressing room now and is beginning to implode.

So, what with the league being so open and United still in the race, I hope the board have the guts to make a decision now to bring Ancellotti in now.

Personally I hope we don't get Pep, since he does also like his teams to play possession football, although his version is a bit less boring to watch.

However, a big part of the problem for me is not just the playstyle, but misuse of his players. Biggest example being Herrera. Does he think Herrera can't keep possession? Because Herrera is probably our best central midfielder for possession football or for attacking football, but he's barely being used.

I think Ander under Pep would flourish and be the 2nd coming of Iniesta.

The twitter account that is reported to be a BBC journalist is claimed to be fake. Plus, as much as most of us would like LVG to be sacked, the truth is that an announcement would have to be made to the NYSE before any step of that magnitude could be made.

Let's also not forget that Giggs didn't have a great record in the games that he managed after Moyes' departure and there is a long way to go in this season.

Ancelotti has made it clear that whilst he would like to manage us, he doesn't want a job mid season.

That said, I think LVG does have to go, his 'philosophy' is all smoke and mirrors, the players have obviously lost all faith and I assume that they are playing poorly to try and force him out, especially as he said he would resign if he lost the dressing room.
