Graham hunter has come out and said pep wants to manage United next. But that doesn't mean to say United want him and that the hierarchy at United are happy to keep lvg.

Hes good but not the only good manager available . The only issue with him his own style of play and we have realised how the passing philosphy works. We just need a manager that's going to get the best of what we have.

The boardroom better look over their shoulders, if they didn't appease the United fans, it won't be the "manager" they be chanting to be sacked.

The passing philosophy works as long as you pass in the right direction and at pace. I read something the other day that actually makes a lot of sense it was saying that when we don't have possession we don't press high enough up the pitch so we win it back in our half meaning we have to travel 50/60 yds to get to the oppositions goal and that we don't do this at pace which in turn let's the opp get back so if we could press 20yds higher up the pitch it would make a lot of difference the only problem with this is without herrera in the middle we have nobody quick enough to cover the ground to press.

If the board don't go for him and he goes for City and is successful, then they should not be forgiven for trusting this clown.

Singh I can't really see any other top coaches becoming available that we will consider other than Pep and Ancelotti, maybe Conte but that's about it. Jose in my opinion should have got the job when SAF went but now he is damaged goods so I am struggling to see where the club goes if LVG is a goner 😆😆.

If pep leaves Bayern I imagine they will get ancelotti in.

We need to make a swift action plan, mis management will not only cost us a top manager, it will also make us question the board members as well.

The negative perception of Graham Hunter is purely down to twitter fools who lack the capability to understand basic information.

{Ed001's Note - are you sure? Or is it because, like everyone employed by Sly, they are expected to pump out info on all and sundry and will often end up passing off opinion as information. Not always on purpose, but it is a problem with the SSN bunch, as they don't get the time to fact check before they are expected to give out information.}

I like Graham as a journalist and he doesn't appear to be the sensationalist sort (see Balague) . Regardless the perception on twitter is that he said we were signing Ramos and Thiago both of which obviously didn't happen. The problem is he never actually said that at all, he just reported that Ramos wanted out of Madrid as they weren't offering the money he deserved and if he were to leave he wanted us. That could well have been true but either way he got paid so that ended that one. With Thiago he reported we were in a position to sign him. Unfortunately Pep and Bayern then came in and he went there. The issue I have is that people twist these words and say 'Graham Hunter doesn't know anything, he said we were signing Ramos and Thiago and he was wrong' which just simply isn't true.

{Ed001's Note - except that he was wrong on both, Ramos was never interested in leaving Madrid, he just wanted a pay rise and so there was no club he wanted if he left. As for Thiago, that is a load of crap, United never made any move for him, and Thiago always wanted to go with Pep. So he was wrong on both counts, whether he said you were signing them or not.}

I mean. that's what Hunter said though isn't it. He wants a pay rise and if he doesn't get it then he would leave for United. That's probably exactly what Ramos fed out to increase his leverage - so is Hunter wrong for reporting that?

Fair enough on Thiago. I just think Hunter gets a worse reputation than is fair.

{Ed001's Note - Hunter is wrong because everyone knew it was not true but he put it out anyway and it led to the situation where the club made an arse of itself trying to sign him.}

So you're saying we tried to sign him because Hunter put a story out saying we were going to sign him?

{Ed001's Note - there is certainly an element of that to it yes. It was what convinced the club to ask for him to be included in any deal for de Gea.}

Ah, well it seems my overall perception of Graham Hunter was incorrect. Thanks for the insight Ed001.

{Ed001's Note - it is not his fault, it is the way they work, they have to say something even when there is nothing.}

Which, if true, proves the board don't have a clue what they're doing. LVG is terrible and will only get worse!
