I've heard that Rooney is not opposed to a move back to Everton as part of the Stones deal, seems like a great idea to me.

And who is going to pay his wages at Everton?

Absolutely ridicules.

Cant see it, pus I think he will want to get the goalscoring record - 18 months from now maybe.

My opinion, great idea, although the wages will be an issue?

Could we not subsidise Rooneys wage along side Everton?

Yes Ronnie, let's pay huge wages for someone who no longer plays for us. Great logic?

Farha Moshiri?

I cannot see that happening in a million years but if Everton can be rumoured to be interested in paying £40million for Joe Hart then they obviously have some money in the club after being brought?

Still, it's silly season now so a nice rumour to get the ball rolling early doors I suppose. If Jose does come in I fully expect the media to link us with Courtois when DDG moves to Real which they will report and we will also get linked to Hazard at some point despite his supposed fall out with Jose.

It's the club he supports, he has more money than he can spend already, he may not be first choice next year, it makes perfect sense to me,

People do realise Rooney is only on £150K basic don't they? When he signed his new deal he got insane on target bonuses but I don't see why a similar thing couldn't be worked out at Everton.

I'm sure the likes of Lukaku are on £100K+.

For the life of me I will never understand the Rooney haters that live on these message boards. Game in game out he's one of our best players and has been for years. For the better part of half a decade there has been a vocal portion of United supporters who seemingly only look at total goals as a judgement on Rooneys contributions. Shameful really but I get satisfaction knowing that for five or six years they've been complaining about Rooney and for just as long they've been proven wrong over and over again. Just embarrassing to have to see these posts all the time.
