One of the best young players on Football Manager. FM have been quite good in the past for projecting player potential.

The very same league Chicharito came from PG. He didn't turn out too bad did he? From what I have seen of the lad he's a decent player, quick and has some end product unlike Lingard. Might be a good option as backup as he can play both wings. Can't see Lingard staying longer than a season. Not a mourinho type player for me.

FM have had some duds but they have also been very good. Go back to some of the early 2000s games and you can get 16 year old Tevez and Macherano. in some of the more recent games there was Freddy Guarin from a Colombian second division side. You could get a 15 year old Wayne Rooney. James Rodriguez, Kovacic, Modric all had very high potential at a young age on the game.

Mark Kerr from Falkirk on, I think, Championship Manager 2000 was always a beast of a midfielder. Kenedy Bakircioglu was another to sign around then.

{Ed001's Note - he was crap, just physically more mature than anyone else in his age group. He was full grown at about 14, so was head and shoulders above the players he was facing.}
