I think everyone on here would agree that would be an outstanding summer but I'll never start to below a pogba return is possible until he is doing an interview with MUTV.
Ibra and mkhitarian will strengthen our attack no end which has clearly been a weakness the last 3 seasons along with possibly some poor management.

I'm sorry bro but it's just 2 years. The year before we had moyes who couldn't handle the wonder of the super club and messed with vidic and rios heads. With bailly and smalling, Jones, mc nair and tiny blind I'm happy enough.

I'm undecided on him Mort. Yes he has talent but in 2 years he'll want a move to Spain in my opinion. Not been overly impressed with him at the Euro's either. If we were to go all out for a marquee signing and splash serious money, I'd love a strong push for Bale instead!

Exactly my thoughts Mort! For me he is vastly, vastly over rated! He is indifferent with flashes of brilliance. I would rather at least a couple of the French players ahead of him.

I agree on pogba I would much rather have veratti also bale is a great player but he is another one who spends a lot of time hanging out with the physios.

Mort, I agree. He's clearly a talented player with huge potential. But atm he drifts in and out of games. For a world record fee I would expect a player who can dominate games and make a telling difference every game.
As Ports said he would likely want to move to Spain in a few years time. I just don't see the value of the deal. Spending a world record fee, paying him massive wages, then just as he starts to become a player of the standard to pay off such a huge investment he will be off to Real Madrid probably for less than we paid for him as he'd only have a year or two left on his contract.

Red79 I agree. Pogba is not what we need. Would love to see us sign Verratti. I'd rather we gave TFM game time than spent over £50m on Pogba. Massive potential but hugely over rated at this moment.

We've just spent £30m on an unknown 22 yr old defender - again, potential and longevity!
