Happy New year folks, a question for ed002 if you are around, are utd interested in saul niguez as there seem to be rumours that utd might look to him as a carrick replacement.

The player has repeatedly insisted he has no interest in leaving Spain unless an option opens up in England and the reason for speculation was that the player and the club were unable, at that time, to agree the terms for a contract extension. An offer from Arsenal was rejected out of hand but Barcelona may well return with a bid but the player and his agent want the Premier League if he is to move, the profile that brings and the money are attractive - and approaches were made to Chelsea and another side - but the fee is very high indeed.}

Him and Griezmann would cost serious money, would Atletico let two important players leave so close together? Only for daft money in my eyes. Must be other more viable and equally good alternatives around.

Thanks ed002, agree brendan it will be crazy money but at the same time a mf of saul pogba herrrera could make us a cl contenders, just imagine the team with greizmann and semedo added to the equation.
