Hi ed's, not really transfer related as such. Last season there was a few papers reporting that United will look to expand old Trafford's south stand on the back of the additional disabled seating requirements. Do you know if this is something the club are looking at or would it simply cost too much?

Do you have any idea of what kind of capacity old Trafford will hold should they build on top of the south stand?

Reports today suggest 88,000 when all done . I also hope they remove the corporate seats from the Stretford End and replace with safe standing, the atmosphere needs it

Does anybody know what the plans look like?
Has the issue with the rails and the neighbours behind been cleared? Or is it going to be some kind of hanging construction over the rails?

I presume Ed meant the disabled thing is commencing. This extra expansion to the south stand seems to have no reality to it and be made up by one newspaper with no credible information or quotes and taken on by all the other papers as if it's fact.
