I know Southampton had a nice rest.
And I'm incredibly happy we won it.
But we looked tired and laboured and Mkhi was injured too.
We have too many matches and it's showing. Zlatan said "He nearly died in the last minutes" and it was showing.

It's impossible for us to get a top 4, a Europe league cup and a FA Cup.
We cannot go and keep playing games with 14-15 players all the time.
Jose needs to prioritise top 4 above all.

I want him to use Bastian, Rooney, Fosu Mensah, Shaw more than he is.
It's not like they are as terrible as Morgan and Depay were.
Rooney can still lead the line, Bastian doesn't look out of sorts. Shaw's been untested. And Fosu doesn't even get a substitute appearance.

I want us to be all guns blazing for the Bournemouth game, play a defensive rotated side away to Russia, play the best XI against Chelsea and then at home play our best XI against Rostov, depending on our previous result.

Real Madrid are struggling with so many games, and we don't have a squad close to theirs in terms of quality. We cannot go so many games with same XI.
We can't play Herrera Pogba every game. Carrick can't start 3 times a week. And Bastian is a quality backup.

I'm surprised Jose doesn't rate Blind as he steps up his game, and learns his new positions very quickly.
Not to sound negative, but we cannot go playing like this. We'll injure a lot more players.

I have to disagree, the team won in a difficult game where Southampton played their game plan to perfection. I doubt they will play a better 90 mins all season.

I think Zlatan was underlining how much effort it took for him to win us this game, and also giving Southampton the respect they deserve.

No one was injured today, no doubt they all put a decent amount of effort in, but nothing like what Southampton had to put into this game, and they didn't even come out with the win! Our strongest 11 should play as many games as they can, Jose doesn't play Klopp football, there is no high press, and I think you will find many of our players ran a lot less far than their Southampton counterparts.

I see where your coming from but I just don't agree.

Agree with you both to a point.

I expect now we are coming to the business end of the season you will see rotation and to be fair Rooney and Carrick have just been out injured.
