Barca, WILL NOT SELL HIM. They may be willing to listen to the other two players Messi and Suarez.

I've watched a lot of Barcelona this season and he isn't worth half that kind of money. he isn't hard enough for the premiership imo. he spends most of games on the floor, a gush of wind would knock him.
I would be spending my money elsewhere.

I really think the amount of money said to being offered is almost beyond belief. More than that if it is true then it's obscene. I know it's the law of supply and demand but frankly it's about time there was a cap on salaries and transfer fees. When millions around the world starve daily and footballers are paid more for a week's "work" than many people will earn in a lifetime then something is seriously wrong. We as fans are as much responsible for this madness as anyone else. If we didn't such stupid amounts for tickets, TV subscriptions and almost yearly shirt changes then reality might bite. I am in my mid 50s and have supported Utd for almost five decades. I have seen some of the games greatest ever players, the games greatest manager and been to wonderful matches home and away. I love Utd but something has to be done.

I agree with your sentiments Herefordred -However look at USA sports its a fact that the top baseball and NFL stars won't get out of bed for 200 k a week. Wayne gretzky in his prime got a share of an oil well and an appartment block in one of his contracts -Charles barkley was earning 300k a week without bonuses 15 years ago. Supply and demand and it all gets bigger and bigger each year despite predictions, before you get into golf and tennis earnings.

Springsteen ticket cost me 220 dollars last year in USA - i read he made 140 million in last 18 months . but I wanted the ticket and it was face value and the stadium was full . where does it end? . that's before we get into movie stars. football is entertainment now . sorry state of affairs.
