He is club captain, no matter how poor he is these days. So he will do press conferences now and again. He'll be in tomorrow's squad.

Martial the only player out if 14 to do the press and not play.

Still all aboard the rooney train jred, give it up, the last 2 matches he started he has managed to give away a stupid late fk that led to a goal and missed a sitter from 4-5 yards, i really hope he doesn't start. I told you at the start of the season he will be a bit part player at best recalled only if other options aren't available or played in games as a rest for first team players. I am pretty sure i even had a bet.

I would be surprised if he starts csm but its funny watching all the haters get upset.
Csm you have been saying it for 4 year pal, one day it was bound to happen.

{Ed025's Note - i dont think its so much hatred as not wanting a player to play in case he hampers the teams ability to win jred, and to be fair great player that he has been his recent form has been very poor, its ok to have different opinions on players and their worth to the team mate..

I have been saying it for four years too Jred. It's finally happening but it's happening 4 years too late.

Ed you can't of read the site over the last 4 year.

{Ed025's Note - i certainly have jred and i know you dont like posters being negative about united, but you have to remember that not everyone is as positive as you mate, especially when some of the football has been such dross..

I'm thinking more the abuse Rooney has got to be honest ed hate was often used.

{Ed025's Note - hate has no place in football or society for that matter jred, the guy has been the fulcrum for united since you robbed him from us, he has been a legend at united but lately his performance has been poor to say the least, how any self respecting united fan can say they hate him is pathetic mate..

Hate has a big place in society ed. it's a prime driver and very helpful when applied correctly. Without hate we would have tolerated many atrocities. Just saying.

{Ed004's Note - But without hate would there have been those atrocities?}

Good point. The answer is yes though, because some atrocities are committed through genuine feelings of misguided love. Interesting conversation but probably not for on here. Hatred was selected for on an evolutionary level because it is beneficial for survival. If we didn't hate we wouldn't care about evil. And the evil folk we hate aren't necessarily filled with hate but rather misguided wishes to do good. Peace.

Hopefully doesn't start. Seriously hinders the team when he plays. Been like that for a long time now.

Shame, but that's the reality we have been faced with the last number of years. Much better players available.

Can't see him starting myself but I don't pick the team.
