Hi all, thanks to the Eds as always for the site. This is purely my guess.

United have decided to hold out one more year for AG because of two reasons, one because of the injury to Ibra and so a CF is now of higher priority and two there is a situation with AG that isn't desirable to the club, perhaps player attitude/ arrogance?

Lukaku looks to be the first choice now, he has prem experience over a number of years and although it hasn't quite proven himself yet in the bigger games, Jose believes he has it in him.

The 'surprise' Jose is referring to is either Neymar or Bale but this will depend on whether Martial is sold and/ or Rashford heads out on loan (not what I want but I can see it happening) .
For what it's worth I also think De Gea will stay but that is just a gut feeling.

Neymar? Rashford being loaned out? Lukaku? Can't see any of these happening at all and probably would 't want to.

{Ed004's Note - I think if we somehow signed Lukaku and Bale that we would be up there as one of the favourites for the league but I don't see why Martial would have to leave or Rasford. We are going to have a lot of games next season and ideally alternate the side more. Look at the attacking options City have signed. I'd be delighted with a summer of Lindelof, Fabinho, Bale and Lukaku/Belotti}

We won't be signing Neymar or Bale, Martial won't be sold, and Rashford definatly won't be going on loan.

Me too Ed! Fabinho would certainly be a dynamic addition to what has become quite an uninspiring midfield IMO. Doesn't Perisic look more likely as a creative mid than Bale?

Fingers crossed Ed! If we signed the guys you mentioned, we'd be up there next year for sure. Still think left back is an issue though, but if we splashed out on them, I doubt we'd sign anymore.
