Hi all thanks to the eds as always.
Eds any idea whether or not The club would rather sell or loan out Shaw next season? One of my posts a while back focused on Shaw's concerning attitude, something I heard about through a colleague who was a sports psychologist at Southampton. No doubting his potential and I'm worried we'd regret it if he left permanently so I wondered if a loan deal could be feasible? Are Burnley interested?

{Ed004's Note - We haven't been linked to any fullbacks which leads me to assume we aren't looking to buy one. If that's the case I would expect Shaw to stay. It's positive sign that reports state Shaw has turned up early to prepare and get fit for next season}

Yes ed. I was going to comment on that report. Has the penny dropped? Its been quiet on the full back front. But then again is only mid June.

{Ed004's Note - It could easily be a case of Cb, Cdm, Winger and Striker being the priority. If any of the likes of Darmian, Blind, Shaw etc leave it could force us to sign one}

I doubt fullback is a priority. I think we are in desperate need of any especially if shaw can prove he is up to the task.

But ed002 has said Martin and semedo remain targets so let's see how the next couple of months play out.

Maybe it's a case of get the priorities in first, CB, DM, AM, CF and then look at the fullback situation.

{Ed004's Note - I'm hoping that's the situation. Getting those 4 and then going for fullbacks. Really hoping we move for Semedo. I think he's a wonderful player and worthy successor to Valencia. He's the type of player we let go to Barcelona or Madrid and then complain in years time that he's the best in the world in his position. He would be tricky to sign though and I think there is a lot of interest in him}

I agree ed. Semedo looks the business. I hope we can snap him up before barca/ real come calling.

Last one from me today Ed but are we looking at Dier alongside Magic as CM options? Personally I'd prefer Fabinho.
