Hi EDs,

Any truth in the Darmian to Juventus rumours?

Don't know about anyone else, but if he's good enough for them he's certainly good enough for us unless he really desires a move back to Italy.

{Ed002's Note - Yes - this is quite old news. Inter were also keen but since January Juventus have been planning on him.}

Thanks Ed very interesting. I suppose if, as you say, we are looking to Semedo too he will be surplus to requirements.

Darmian isn't suited to the EPL. He offers very little going forward and is very slow. Serie A is much more suited to his style of play.

Tend to agree with you Wazza. Good move for Darmian though as he gets a return to Turin and to a great club.

While I'm fine with darmian moving on, I hope it doesn't blur the fact that he was a decent player for us. Strong defensively, perhaps a little too cautious going forward, but he always put in a good shift, willing to play on either flank, and was by no means a failure at united. If he was willing to be a role player behind legit elite fbs, I'd be fine keeping him. If he does move on, I for one will have positive memories and gratitude to the player. He's done the united shirt proud.
