According to recent reports we've stepped up our interest in DM Leander Dendoncker who'll apparently cost between £22-27m, which in today's market is a good piece of business for a guy who is 22!

José was apparently impressed by his performances against us last year!?

I haven't seen this lad play much. It would be refreshing to sign someone a bit younger and cheaper and see them turn into a top drawer player.

I've only seen him a few times and he has looked decent every time.

I thought he played better than the more highly rated Tielemans in the games against us last season.

Personally I don't think we need to play with a dedicated defensive midfielder in every game so maybe signing someone like Dendocker for around 25m makes more sense then signing Matic for 50m.

Agree on Deodonker. read the same article but think says more "Utd should be targeting" rather than we are.
