some of my work colleagues based in France believe PSG will not take up the offer to sign Kylian Mbappe but are confident in signing Alexis Sanchez instead. they think he's off to Manchester united or city and i think this must be why united or whoever leaked a comment that united need to sell before they buy as £160M will be a large pay out for a single player. sounds fantasy football but it was what we were waffling about this afternoon.

As far as I'm aware, they don't have an option on the player, PSG have made a commitment to purchase Mbappe next summer.

{Ed001's Note - that was what held up the deal happening is that Monaco wanted a guarantee they would sign him for the agreed price at the end of the loan or they would not agree to loan him.}
