So it would appear martial is to be shown the door, griezeman is off to barca, isco to the rabble, chelsea fancy a sniff at bale (moratta back to madrid? ) ramsey, varane and umtiti linked, pogba apparently now to stay (? ), doucoure from watford mentioned too, i just hope the equalizer (sorry, edward woodward-showing my age there) has his bags packed, flights booked and a brand new cheque book ready to be used, i just think more signings are needed if existing players leave, retire as well (smalling, darmian, blind, shaw, etc), i'd like to see jose sign some more experienced players, who are maybe in the twilght of their career,2-3 seasons left in them just to add balance-yes there's a risk with injuries, but managed properly it could work, but its joses' big big window this summer, here's to him having a corker for all concerned.

{Ed001's Note - no mention of Alderweireld or Rose?}

Yesterday i read reports linking Manchester United to 26 different players. Obviously most of that is nonsense on top of that i rwad links of 11 players to potentially leave. Ddg being the only one of those i'd imagine jose would be desperate to keep.
My point is don't mind what you read ed002 gives the best steer on what's realistic.

I think Shaw will stay. A few fringe players out inc Carrick, Blind, Darmian and Fellaini, with a rightback and two mids coming in. Not too sure about rightback, I do like Fabinho but still prefer him in midfield. Maybe that could be a reason to go for him. Savic/ Jorginho would be fantastic additions in midfield.

Why would Shaw stay?

Every year half the squad is going to leave and ten new players are going to come in. The reality is much different. I think Shaw may even surprise us all to will be first choice.

Surprise? I think the shock would kill half the stadium if he lost the weight and knuckled down.

Sorry ed001-i didn't mention alderweireld because Barcelona are all over him at the moment and as for rose, a certain mr. levy has been heard making noises of starting bids in the region of 60 million+! -hence why jose is looking for better value for money, i think give tuanzebe a crack but i don't think jose will though, oh and 1 final whisper is the one about dembele from spurs as a good option as a squad player, i'd be happy taking a punt on vardy, proven striker, tenacious and always a pain to play against., keep him stocked up on fags and a fruit machine and everyones' happy!

I think you are going to have a heart attack come summer Class if you are believing all of this stuff already.

I would think Alderweireld is the most likely to be signed in the summer but we have 2 months until then so no need to worry about it yet (or in the summer really as the signings have been good in recent years) .

Hope your right GDS2,its reported that today psg have agreed to match alderweirelds' demand for 10 million-a-year on a five year deal, with that on the table, barca also watching, will the board match the offer, time will tell.

I wish, i've some mates who work in media and they love sending me links to the latest rumours/ whispers about targets, normally with a "bob hope" finish to it, drives me mad but at the same time its a guilty pleasure, what can i do!
