That would be truly a sad day. I would have nothing to do with Man Utd as long as he owned the club.

It would be terrible if a repressive regime like the Saudis took control. Sad fact is nobody has batted an eyelid with the Quataris taking over/ investing in big clubs eg Barcelona and City. When it is an open secret that such states have serious connections to terrorists isn't it shameful that Fifa don't ban them. (oh forgot. that is the Fifa mired in controversy about awarding Qatar a world cup) . Let's hope the Glazers are more moral. If not us fans should kick up an almighty fuss.

Perhaps we could all buy green and gold scarves again, that worked a treat last time, really showed them.

I think if anyone offered the Glazers the amount they are looking for they will rip their arm off. Whoever ends up buying us will either be another Glazer style leveraged buyout or a mega rich individual or group. Given the asking price its not a long list of potential owners. European football is becoming an increasingly large part in the middle eastern geo political squabbles. Where Qatar an the UAE started now Saudi will follow.

As much as I dislike the Glazers, I'm pretty sure they don't have blood on their hands.
