Any truth in the Sancho rumours? Isn't he another left sided player?

{Ed025's Note - i cant see it to be honest..

Ole name checked him in a recent press conference.

He's good young English talent. If we're going back to our traditions and identify then he's going to be linked.

He prefers to play on the left, yet he has played on the right for Dortmund all season bar a few minutes.

He looks like he is going to be one hell of a player, I certainly wouldn't be upset if we signed him.

That said in Chong, Gomes and Greenwood we have three potentially world class forwards. Whether they can step up and realise that potential is another thing.

{Ed004's Note - He would be the perfect upgrade for the role Lingard has been playing recently}

I don’t think Sancho has done anything to prove he can replace Lingard yet. Jesse gets a bad rap - he’s pretty fundamental to how the team currently line up and operate.

Completely different type of player to Jesse, I’d say off the ball jesse is better at finding space etc. But when it comes to 1v1s sancho is better.

Don’t get me wrong - would be a very cheeky signing indeed.

Would stay away from Sancho as our history with Dortmund players isn't that great :P.

Sancho an upgrade on Jessie? Really ed?

{Ed004's Note - Even if he isnt currently he has a far higher ceiling than Lingard}

He's have to do be achieving that on a much regular basis. I'm not sure he has that. Jessie has always consistently performed for us.
