I have to say I'm a little surprised about it. While he wouldn't be first on my list of who I thought should be replaced in the summer, I thought he would be. I think this might spell the end for Bailly? Smalling recently signed a new contract, now Jones has one, Lindelof has been excellent for a good while now and it looks fairly certain we will sign a new CB so can't see where he gets games.

In addition to the above, I was really hoping to see more of Tuanzebe next season, perhaps in cup games and the occasional league game as I think he will be a very good player.

Unless its to ensure we get a fee when we do sell. I still say two of rojo, jones and Smalling will be off in the summer. Rojo looks likeliest. Jones and Smalling contribute to the homegrown quota. Maybe they'll be slowly phased out and gone by summer 2020.
