I think our bench tomorrow night will be a joy to see (ok for the wrong reasons) but we could well see 2 or 3 academy players on the bench with a realistic chance of playing a part in the game.
It depends on injuries but if the 4 attackers mata rash tony and jessie are injured it only leaves lukaku sanchez and at a stretch young as forwards so chong and gomes are probably next in line.

I can't really see young playing in an attacking role given he's cover for Shaw and currently first choice right back.

The injuries are unfortunate but could be a good thing if it gives younglings a chance. Rashford after all got his chance because of injury.

Would you consider Pogba playing LW (unless Rashford or Martial have recovered) as he prefers the left side, can score, can cross, can put the killer pass in, and could be given some freedom from there. Lukaku, Sanchez and Pogba OR Chong, Lukaku and pogba up front.
It would also allow us to put 3 players in midfield, relieving Pogba of major defensive duties apart from supporting the full back.
Then we could have McTomm, Pireirra and Fred (or Garner) controlling midfield with good numbers?

Perth, removing Pogba from midfield means we are missing our 3 main CMs. No way can we let that happen. We need consistency and players playing in their best position.

Could see Dalot starting RW and Sanchez left to be honest. He’s quite attacking and Palace have been on a good run of late with Zaha down that side.

Right side Fred? Or too sexy?
