"Manchester unitrd were never in serious talks for fernandes, it was all propoganda orchestrated by sporting and spread via the Portuguese press to force a sale this month. The club are fully focused on the rebuild and will push forward with the targets they have identified for the summer" my guess is that will come out Thursday via Simon Stone or Samuel luckhurst. All utter BS but they will peddle it none the less.

On a serious note and how far we have fallen. Spurs enquire about Bergwyn. Two days later he his having his medical.

Where as we spend alomst 4 weeks chasing Bruno and we are still no closer to signing him.

The board, The manager, The so called superstars in our team are dismantling this club brick by brick.

I fear for our future as a footballing power house.

{Ed025's Note - it goes in cycles RTR, united will be back mate believe me..

Tim_99 what rebuild is this? To bring back Alexis. LOL it's just laughable. There is no rebuild, there is no plan. Nobody from the top down knows what they are doing at United.

I know that mate, I was just paraphrasing the BS the club will put out via their media buddies to justify their incompetence. I don't buy any of it believe me.

Not going to happen until they get rid of those running it at the moment ed025.

{Ed025's Note - changes will be made angel but they need to be, for me it would be the owners and their puppet woodward but of course thats just me mate..

Cycles is nonsense. If you are run badly and don't make the right decisions then you struggle. Liverpool have proved that! They've got good owners now who back the unbelievable manager they have and look at the difference.

Can only hope Club saving their money for “rebuild” in te summer, including arrival of Pochettino and Sporting Director he wants.

Have to feel sorry for Ole though, must know what’s probably going to happen now, so will have to work with what he’s got.

I also agree Damon86 football doesn’t go in cycles. Why is it only in the English league football goes in cycles, you don’t see Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Dortmund or other big clubs going years not competing at the top of the table. It stems from poor running of the club, poor management that rest on their laurels. United from the position they was in thanks to Fergie if we’d planned right would of remained successful but no future planning put paid to that. As long as the clowns are still running the show United will challenge again for years.

Nellym - actually other leagues do go in cycles. The difference is that in Spain for example, most of the league I'd so far behind Barcelona and Real that their down cycles just mean they are fighting A. Madrid for second. In England, the quality gap is smaller, so a bad spell drops you further down the league table.

I disagree if you are a top, top team you will always be qualifying for the champions league or at least in the top few spots. Look at AC Milan for example they've been in a mess for a number of years now.

Thorne- the difference being that manchester united is supposedly the biggest club in the world and after so much success we should of stayed well ahead of the chasing pack.
