What is United's plan for Donny Van De Beek for next season?
Is he part of the first team plan or will he be moved on this summer.

It must have been an insult to him to not even come on as a substitute in the Europa final.

{Ed002's Note - Donny van de Beek (CM) has been offered to Real Madrid and Juventus, and will be offered to Barcelona due to a lack of a plan or direction at MU. But both Spanish clubs have moved on and unless Manchester United would accept a long-term payment plan or loan to buy there would not be the spare money to buy him. If Pogba leaves there will be space in the team - but MU seem intent on holding him hostage. Juventus has a preferred CM target but might be open to a loan to buy deal. Roma, Inter or Borussia Dortmund may provide an option if he is to leave - but he would not be first choice for any.}

Such a strange signing for us. Clearly OGS and his coaching team don’t think he’s good enough to even get many sub minutes.

So the question is who scouted him, who said yes to him, and who released the funds. Smacks of another poor signing in our midfield which, Bruno aside, has been a real weakness for our club. Fred being another case in point.

I think we need to go big in this area in the summer - Rice or Saul - question is who do we sell? Who even wants any of these guys? For me Pogba has to go.

For me, Pogba and either Matic or Fred should go. Bring in a proper DM, Rice, Saul, Koopmeiner or someone like that, ideally someone who can play a deep-lying playmaker role when we are trying to break down packed defences.

Then whichever we keep out of Matic and Fred can be backup 6, and we can rotate McTominey and DVB as 8, depending on opposition. Both have goals in them, and McT can pull players out of position with runs through the middle on the transition, while Donny has better passing and movement off the ball. They both just need the freedom of playing alongside a real DM rather than Fred.
