Jst got news from my close friend that.
United are not in Race to Sign Lewandowski.
Rooney will be given 1 more chance in Next Season

I never thought he was coming anyway. It is other posters here who post a lot of bs and everyone gets all excited about the whole thing.

I still believe our biggest spend will be for an attacking midfielder and that will not be much either.

So No Falcao, Lew, Bale. They will give Rooney a go at midfield and a very quite summer as far as transfers are concerned.

I think the manager is overestimating the quality of this team and depending on what Chelsea and City do, we might be in for a long season next year. Mourinho if he ends up at Chelsea will get that team sorted.

Our first 11 is not good enough against Chelsea and City and whoever thinks they are is too biased.

Arsenal and Spurs are not too far behind either and will be better next year.

Finally, can't ever remember the last time we were so average at home against so many teams.

I sometimes wonder who is the home team and who is the away team. Old Trafford is definitely not a fortress and as intimidating as it used to be and everyone blames the the supporters, however it is difficult to get excited when you are watching the sh. t we play.

I am sure people will now respond and defend the team but just calling what I am seeing on the pitch.

Not sure of your source but I think both rumours seem believable enough.

Agree with shahram. But I thought tottenam midfield are better than us if they get a quality striker they can win epl.

Tottenham don't have the strength in depth required to win the PL yet. Maybe within the next 2-3 years they will be serious challengers, but that depends on whether they can hold on to their best players (Lloris, Bale, Dembele etc. ) as well as adding a couple of quality players in the next few transfer windows.

Spurs are better than us that's why their twenty points behind! Yes they need a striker. But as grd said they lack strength in depth. Take Bale out and they look ordinary.

Spurs are a good team and great to watch.

I agree they are not deep as a squad but their first 11 when healthy is a handful for any team and a draw is a good result.

I will take Dembele over all our midfielders except carrick. I would also take Lennon over Valencia and Nani any.

They bossed the midfield in both games against us. They need strikers and another CB and have a good young base to build on if they can keep them together.

They have Bale who on current form will be in the running for the Balon D'or.

Shahram is right. As I've said all along, fergie has done miracles with this team this year. It will be very disappointing if he is not backed by the owners properly in the summer.
No more half decent players who might turn out to be good, we need top players who can improve the first team. We have a lot of average squad players, we don't need any more of them.

No Midfield

I truly get where you are coming from. I think top players make everyone around them better and open up the pitch and allow us to play better quality football.

At the moment most teams don't worry about us on the left side and everything is down the right flank. In so many games teams load the right side against us and hence Valencia looks even worse.

If we get a genuine top notch left winger and attacking CM it is hard to defend against a team that can hurt you in many ways. Our current set up gets no production from the flanks or CM in terms of goals. A top class attacking midfielder and winger will give us 20 goals and 20 assists a year.

In the old days Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez used to be able make up for our short comings and lack of production from other areas of the pitch but Ronaldo and Tevez are gone, Rooney is not what he used to be. The current set up is a mixture of a few very good players and a lot of average squad players. Whilst the manager has depth in ranks and can rotate a lot of players, he does not have a killer 1st 11 for the big games.

2 top signings CM, LW will do wonders and if you wanted to be greedy another top cm would be the icing on the cake.

We don't need an attacking midfielder we need to use kagawa properly. We need a box to box who can drive forward. And a left sided attacking player.

11.) 06 May 2013
The manager seems to think so as we were ready to pay over 35 million on hazard and moura and got priced out of the deals and Kagawa was not a replacement as we had already bought Kagawa when we tried to get moura.
