Good evening Guys

I have been reading this site for a long time and occasionally post but recently the conversations on here have got a bit personal and on some occasions a tad boring. That said this is a banter site and everyone is entitled to their opinions. My points tonight are solely on United. Firstly I am getting a bit nervous about the Thiago situation I really hope we sign him but the longer it goes on the more it resembles Moura last season and Sneider the season before. I would like to wish Darren Fletcher the very best in his attempts to overcome his bowel condition. I was quietly impressed by David Moyes news conference on Friday and his handling of the Wayne Rooney situation was impressive. I still find it a bit weird that Fergie is not at the helm but I think DM has got what it takes to give it a good shot.

Let's hope we can get the thiago deal sewn up as soon as possible. The only issue with united getting deals done early is that by August people on this website are moaning saying we need to buy more players. It happens every summer no matter who we have already bought.

I would think we will make another bid for baines and he will push that deal through. Going to be an exciting few weeks.

Unfortunately I have a feeling fletcher will never fully recover, a horrible shame that would be for a player who gave his all for the club. I am still hopeful but less and less expectant by the day.

I thought the press conference was all it needed to be, he said nothing controversial and came across likeable and charismatic whilst being confident but not arrogant. Hopefully he can keep this going.

Good to be back to the football and transfer chat I agree, but sometimes getting to know people on the site and finding out more about them is good too, like any little community it's nice to know your neighbours but not to know too much!

Just submitted a post saying the same thing about DM. Everthing he said seemed to be a measured approach to the achievement of a goal whether it was about getting a message to Rooney or letting other clubs know we're prepared to sit it out to get our targets.

Fergie may not be at the helm any longer but Moyes could easily have been his apprentice!

I agree with everything you said but the thiago deal I think it will be done in the next week or two he as only had his first press conference Friday mate and been sorting the staff and Rooney out.
