Man City have gained permission to increase their capacity to 62000.
As Arsenal were known as the Invincibles, do Man City want to be known as the invisibles?
At many of their games there are masses of empty seats. Or are they invisible fans? Maybe it, s for concerts and other events.

I wouldn't get too casual about it, Robbie.

A successful team can easily take hold of a new generation of kids.

When I was a kid, Liverpool shirts outnumbered our Utd shirts, by about 2-1. Through our great years in the 90s and 00s, you hardly saw a young boy in a Liverpool top over here.

Now I see young lads at my son's football academy with City shirts on.

There was never anyone in City shirts, growing up.

If the success continues, the fans will come.

The more successful city become the more day trippers and glory hunters will want tickets, don't underestimate there growth in world football, they have an owner with the money and the will to push them into the worlds elite.they give schools tickets for kids at silly prices but are snaring the next generation of fans.if you live in manchester you would definately more kids and teenagers wearing city colours than a few years back

Like many have said they can't fill it now but why wait till they get to that stage where its full then do it if its possible now, maybe if we had the same attitude with our midfield we wuddent be in the position we are

Excellent news for the city of Manchester. Should create some jobs and keep the development moving in a part of the city which can do with all the investment it can get.

Also, begs the question, why aren't Utd increasing capacity to 100,000?
