I believe we may be heading for an interesting moment, season ticket renewal.
At the moment there is no indication of whether the automatic cup scheme will be applied, at full price, to the Europa ties should we qualify. The idea that renewal means a very costly outlay for the likely even more Europa games than CL, may cause some or even many not to renew. Then we have to factor in the actual football on offer, will people buy into Moyes for next season? No doubt many will renew but the combination of expensive auto cup for Europa and the thought of more of what we have seen this season is going to make it far harder to sell those tickets no matter who we will be rumoured to buy. Of course buying expensive players will mean the owners have to get the money back at every opportunity, can they afford not to implement the auto scheme? Playing unknown minnows in the Europa will not fill the ground without forcing attendance. I think we should watch the decision on this with interest.

Agree red man. Very interesting times ahead. It will be difficult to attract the likes of Kroos or Vidal, these guys will want to join a top club playing top football. We are neither at the moment i'm afraid.

That's a really good point, can they rely on day trippers to fill the stadium against the weaker European tems? I don, t think they can.
