Hi all, from feeling very frustrated all season my mood has changed considerably to one of excited about the immediate future. i'm enjoying the rumour / counter rumour and (perversely maybe) enjoy watching the press scratching around trying to undermine/second guess/ just pure make stuff up about the club . One thing is for sure that if it is LVG and I hope it is. he will come on his terms and he will do it his way and when he leaves in 3/4 years time he will have been successful and he will leave the plying side of the club in a far healthier position than he inherited it. Again for sure he will make tough calls on playing staff calls without any sentiment decisions that will split opinions but a high % of those calls turn out to be correct on his CV. He is abrasive and some say slightly arrogant he is a winner for over 25 years at the highest level and coached some of the words best players and the worlds greatest clubs. His CV compares favorably against any major candidate including Jose Pep Anchalotti klopp. He won't fail and I think the club won't fail him in getting most of his main targets. in 6 months we will be off our seats watching entertaining winning football again . There will be rows and tantrums and a few bust ups along the way. but in the end he is usually proved right. sort of reminds me a bit of a guy we had in charge before once upon a time.
