"Manchester United are reportedly in advanced talks to sign Angel Di Maria and Mats Hummels as part of a stunning £75million double deal.

United have ramped up their transfer activity in the last two weeks, with new manager Louis van Gaal directing operations despite being at the World Cup in Brazil.

Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera are already on board and now the Gu@rdian reports that Di Maria and Hummels could be next through the door.

Di Maria has apparently asked to leave Real Madrid this summer and despite interest from PSG, United are pushing to close a £45million deal for the winger."


Read this on one of the sites lately, don't know how much of this is true but both will be a very good addition to our current squad.

That would top us up nicely. Hummels in our back line would add so much and Di Maria would give us that pace that we are so desperately lacking. Even if we didn't get Vidal I'd be delighted with a summer of Shaw, Hummels, Herrera and Di Maria.

Id prefer Vidal anf Hummels as I don't rate Di Maria at all, he's just a little more consistent then Nani so its a lot of money to be spending on him .

I'd prefer big money be spent on Hummels & Vidal. Our weakest area in the big games last season was our midfield, Herrera may be a great signing but he won't fix all our problems alone.
