Hi Eds. Just wondering if there is any truth in reports that Arsenal have made a bid for Carvalho? Apparently they've offered €30m and Sporting would be willing to deal at somewhere around that figure.

Do we maintain an interest or is he viewed as an alternative to Vidal?
