I don't get all these posts stating that we won't buy anybody etc etc.

Ed002 has given loads of info regarding players we have inquired about and others that we are actively bidding for.

If the owners were only wanting to 'penny pinch' they wouldn't have given Moyes the boot so early into his 8 year deal and replaced him with somebody like LVG whom isn't a 'yes' man.

They know that success is key to the business, and they probably know as much as us fans that investment is needed to bring back the success!

What would be stupid though is having Huge clear out and buying 7-8 players in one window. Ed has said countless times that it will take 3 windows.

Fingers crossed a defender will be signed soon along with the elusive Vidal and we can kick on from this result!

Stay positive, get behind the team, and stop being so negative when things are against us!

A huge clear out is exactly what United need.
Too many overhyped, bubble wrapped, overpaid players who are nothing more than mediocre - Cleverley, Young, Nani, Anderson, Smalling, Raphael, Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Hernandez. Not one of those would get in last season's top six first XI.
Your view of don't panic is complacent nonsense. It's not panic, it's ignoring reality.
How many more poor displays against supposedly weaker sides will you need to see? To say that fans need to wait 3 transfer windows is garbage. Should they stop paying the ticket prices and TV subscriptions for that long also as a quid pr quo agreement? No!
United are in deep trouble and will end up mid-table this season. Teams are no longer worried about coming to Old Trafford. They know if they play like Swansea did yesterday they can soak-up our one dimensional play and then they'll sneak a goal or two. Even Villa with Roy Keane will turn up and put one over us this season unless we improve the quality of the squad.

Isn't this the third window since Moyes took over? Or is it three windows afrer lvg now?timetables aside can't help thinking blowing 70m on two no 10s when we already had two is hurting us.Hopefully the squad can be improved but we may have dropped half a dozen pionts by then. there were genuine plus points from yesterday though rooney isn't one of them. He's a good player but he's paid at 50 goals a season money and will be lucky to get half that. Could be replaced for half the money.
