Hi Ed002

was wondering if you (and everyone else on here as well) feel any potential agreement that would see De Gea and Bale swap clubs would be a good move?

{Ed002's Note - I would not connect the two players - and the search engine will reveal my views on the matter.}

If the club decide to sell de gea or fail to tie him down to a long term lucrative contract,some at the club wants sacking, bale or no bale.
Excellent keepers are tough to find as we know, Valdez is short term,de gea could be our number 1 for another ten years or more.

{Ed002's Note - Players are no more than transient moments in the organic life of a football club. Maybe Tim Krul will become a legend at Old Trafford?}

And so maybe could massimo tiaibi , oh no that's right he was awful, etc etc let's keep a good one when we find one, assuming he wants to stay of course.
If Madrid could sell bale, get de gea and get reus, from their point of that's great business

The problem is if a player does not want to sign how do you make them. I am sure that we have offered a very good contract. maybe even one of the highest earners but if De Gea wants to go back to Spain you can't stop that.
Either, sell now for maximum value. Sell in the summer for less.or make him see out the contract and get nothing.
Cant remember many clubs that do that latter. Dortmund did it twice and maybe they regret it now.

Lloris would need to be signed as a replacement for me, not Krul.

Dont need one. De gea will stay

Krul is a decent keeper but far from DDG level.

Lloris will be priced at £40m by Levy, so I can see us targeting an unknown young keeper and Valdes being #1 for 2-3 seasons. sigh.

Maybe that giant we signed recently will be ready in 2016, who knows?
