Ok, scenario.
We sell adm to let's say psg for let's say 60m(just go with it). Now, do we go in to the new season with depay(new to this league), januzaj(young, inconsistent and inexperienced), young(not good enough) and mata(not quick enough for the wings)?

Then who do we buy? I know everyone is going jump in with bale as the answer but that's really improbable. So, here's the question. Who would you buy?

Griezmann. He is the best out there and has proven himself in consecutive seasons.
Felipe Anderson is still not ready.
Firmino is a good player and I would like him but haven't seen him play on the wings.

Don't watch too much foreign football anymore, but I always liked Konoplyanka, Draxler - on a domestic level , hmmm Sterling (linked well with Rooney the other day and it would be hilarious), but my first choice would be the Ox.

If we were in that scenario, I think we would have to take a punt on someone or pay well over the odds for a player. Realistically, there wouldn't be too many players of the calibre we would like available from clubs who would do business with us. I would be inclined to give Andreas Pereira a chance and make sure we really tightened up at CB and CM so the spine of the team is strong which would hopefully allow Pereira and Januzaj a bit more freedom when they come in.

Don't see Di Maria, then we don't have that problem.

But the one winger I'd like to see here that isn't a Bale or a Neymar is Griezmann.

If Marco Reus was not so prone to injuries, then I would want us to sign him. Griezmann is among the best young wide men, and I would love us to sign him, but he would be expensive. Failing that, Lucas Moura, Felipe Anderson, Pedro, Cuadrado, Turan, or Candreva could all be good options. Obviously though Bale has to be the first player we look at if we want to sign another winger, even if he costs £80 million. For me if we sign Bale, we win the league, and such a sign of intent might even convince Dave to stay. A forward line of Bale, Rooney, and Di Maria would be scary good.

We need a right wing so either Domenico Berardi or Felipe Anderson for me. Roberto Firmino for the Fellani position, Firmino is actually very hard working defensively.

I agree Griezmann been saying that here for 3 years now, though I don't post much anymore.

Wish we would go for vidal though, probably the best box to box DM for the 3 years before this. Yes he had surgery last year, yes he rushed back too soon for the world cup, yes he was poor early last season started to play much better from xmas on. IF he passed the medical and i'm sure he would, we could get him cut price.

Well put Grund, Vidal has improved throughout this season, and he now looks back to his best. Incidently he scored 2 goals and created another goal for Chile against Mexico in the Copa the other day. Vidal is so much more than just a box to box defensive midfielder. Obviously he is superb defensively, but he is fantastic as a creative and attacking force as well. IF we signed him, a midfield of him, Herrera, and either Strootman or Schneiderlin would really give the likes of Chelsea and City a fright.

The guy is perfectly capable of playing on the right Rewz. Plus I think we will keep Di Maria and sign another winger anyway. If we signed Griezmann then Griezmann on the left, Rooney through the middle, and Di Maria on the right would be lethal.
