I'd just like to point something out about Schweinsteiger's age because it's the only negative about him (apparently).

Please remember that the player who we all consider to be in the top 3 of our most important players, Carrick, is now 33 and 2 1/2 years older than Schweinsteiger yet is still at the top of his game. LVG will realistically have 2-3 more seasons here and Schweinsteiger will still be a top player for the duration of his leadership. His age to me is not an issue, if anything it is a bonus due to his vast experience and undeniable leadership qualities.

We couldn't ask for anyone better in the middle of the park than a multiple time Bundesliga winner, Champions League winner and World Cup winner. We really have picked well here since he is our first German signing ever.

Would also like to add a question to this rather than start a new thread.

What does this season hold for Januzaj, Wilson and Pereira? I think they will all have plenty of opportunities to be honest.

I can see lot of chances for Wilson Fresh. But since we are packed on midfield and wings , Januzaj and Pereira won't game much game time IMO. may in ST pos?
