Hi Guys

Although LvG has managed some of the biggest clubs in Europe I think the Manchester United job is proving too big for him. He thinks making progress is making the 4th round of the Capital one Cup but still being beaten by a Championship side and making the group stages of the Champions league despite not qualifying from what was an easy group. He states that us fans can't expect our team to be like it was 10 years ago. Why not that is part of our history it is what makes our team so great. The reason that we have declined over the last 18 months is down to his poor performance in the transfer market, his dour tactics that doesn't suit the players we have and his total lack of understanding what our great club is all about. Can you imagine Fergie speaking in such negative vibes about United. I would normally be sitting here expecting an easy 3 points today but Van Gaal has drained that confidence out of me and I can see us struggling today. I have supported United for 47 Years and my love and passion for this great club of ours will never die but I'm starting to think until this man is relieved of his duties the pain will continue. I don't expect many people will agree with my views but it is how I feel at the moment. I want my United back and very soon would be nice.

I fully agree Bazza van gaal needs to go, i really don't like woodward either parading around flashing the cash, he should go about his business like Gill did. It seems the club is losing its identity since Fergie and Gill left and it doesn't seem it will be coming back soon.

Sorry LvG. I think the fans have every right to expect trophies. £250-300,000,000 spent, and the worst football any United fan can remember? He gets every help available, lots of advice, but made the same basic mistake as Moyes. Rip out the old tried and tested methods and replace with methods that went out of date decades ago.
Most of the signings he's made are good, but he doesn't let them do the things they are good at, so the players suffer. Then he casts out any player that makes simple mistakes or displeases him in some way.
When LvG was signed there were few options but now we are at a stage where tried and tested managers with RECENT successes have become available and to miss this opportunity would be tragic.
Some will say 4th in the league just 3 points behind the leaders isn't bad, but I dread DDG having an off day. HE is the reason we are up there, NOT LvG.

His comments were very negative. I guess management should be looking at the candidates immediately. I would definitely want an attack minded manager enough of this conservative style. V r going nowhere with this guy.

Couldn't agree more with you Bazza and the other posters. The man just keeps on saying all the wrong things. If he's instilling this negative attitude into his players, then how does he expect them to win.
I would not entrust him with another penny. Get rid of this idiot before its to late.
