Hi guys, afc fan here. Your last two appointments were wrong and for you i think maureen, longterm would be very damaging. I've got to say no one mentions mark hughes, i think he has the stamp of a man u manager and he would manage in a similar way to saf. he's never really been given the chance to manage a top club but i think he would be ideal for you.

Fan of mark Hughes but unfortunately his time at City and the Fulham situation spoilt his reputation, remember Stoke fans protesting at his appointment! Agee very good manager.

I think Hughes is a very good manager. He has done a very good job at Stoke.

I would love to see sparky back at Old Trafford.

Only way this, would happen is on a short term for rest of Season with giggs remaining number 2. Then if it goes, well they may renegotiate a longer deal.
Not sure he would go for that.
The board Will want a big name. he would be seen as another risk after past 2.
I would have loved it. you can see what he has done imotoring stoke. However
. he managed City and that is a big black mark.

I take your points, for me he's done his apprenticeship, learnt from his mistakes, matured and would i feel given any top job wouldn't be any bigger risk than anybody else. I appreciate his connection with city is an issue with some, but it would also be a kick in the teeth for them if he was a success.

Something that would take me time personally to accept as he had connections with City but I would warm to having Sparky as manager.
