If not to discuss the goings on at the club; what exactly is the point of posting on these pages?
If we're not allowed to ask questions about transfers or talk about the way that the team are playing - what exactly should we be talking about here?
As much as I'd love to discuss this further - I need to leave early to beat the traffic.

I read a lot of the club pages. It is not all about transfer questions to be fair. There is a high degree of tolerance shown by the various eds for all sorts of discussions but they need to be respectful to all concerned ie each other the club the staff and the eds. I'm guessing they also have to be non repetitive and to the point and relevant to reality not fantasy and la la land. That's my opinion anyway.
It's also worth looking up the search engine before asking a question as it's likely to have been answered beforeðŸ˜ðŸ˜.

Ed002, can I ask why you take part in these websites? You really seem to dislike having to do it and everyone on here. Don't mean that in a negative way, just curious.

The problem is not me it is the stupid trolls like you who speak from a position of complete ignorance about the club and about the game. You have been systematically going through the posts of other poster, regardless of what they are about, and trolling them with your ridiculous anal comments aimed at damaging the club. You are the primary reason that other peoples efforts are now just being deleted. It shows how little your respect even extends to the decent supporters of the club.
As you don't think I am providing anything useful in terms of transfers or information to this page, I am more than happy to no longer bother (yet again). All of those that do care about transfers and get answered will get ruined by you, so it will make no difference.}

Ok Ed 02 - when I donated money to the website I was under the impression it was for Man Utd general talk, like most people on here the transfer rumours stuff is treated as a secondary bonus/ fantasy land.
Could you maybe add a page for "banter", maybe you shouldn't bother going on it if it's going to wind you up with people talking about things outside your expertise/ interest?
Be interesting in February when 99% of people visiting will want to talk about more than just transfer gossip, that you yourself say is just for gullible people anyway!
I'll just use the live-chat option on match days unless you exact revenge on me for daring to respond.

Ken - Whilst I really appreciate the insight offered by the Editors; I find this site somewhat pointless these days outside of reading Ed002's posts.
I'd wager that about 95% of fans on here are unhappy with the football that the team is playing and the majority of those are hoping for a managerial change. That we're unable to discuss these things without being branded 'toxic' and told that our opinions are 'complete bollocks' seems a little disheartening.
I'm all for respecting the editors and not wasting their time with stupid questions about things on twitter or asking questions that have already been answered - but at the same time would like to be able to discuss the club that I support with other fans without being insulted.

it baffles me how some people can't just shut the f*** up, no I don't post that often on here but I read it with interest everyday to see what news the ed's have for us and to see other fans views on the club, we had ed002 leave our page in the summer and now again thanks to a couple of absolute morons who just can't help but type a load of bollocks without thinking what will happen, now i'm off to buy some some KY as that will be the last transfer information we'll get.

Well done Fresh and Beast, yet again you have for reasons few of us can fathom have succeed in driving Ed002 off the pages again.
All Ed002 does is provide us with good infomation, one of the very few good sources I may add.
And for some reason you decide to try and pick a fight with the Ed again. Surely you must know that is a fight yoy can't win. Either you will be banned or the Ed will stop giving us good infomation about what is going on with the club. Quite likely both. There is no win, no moral high ground you can claim. You just ruin the page for everyone else.
I can't even blame the Ed for going on another self imposed excile.
Well If your going to ruin the site for the rest of us I see no reason why any of us should respond to you two idiots. Its a shame as I have had good discussions with both of you.
But from now on I will not respond to either of you, and I would urge all other posters to do the same. As yet again Fresh and Beast you have ruined a very important element of the site for no reason other than your own pig headedness.

Red seven. I also like to discuss all sorts of club topics. Players, playing style and yes even the coach. I understand that most other posters do likewise. All my request was that we do it in a respectful way to each other and to those that facilitate the site ie the eds.
I have myself been on the sharp end of ed002 s tongue on several occasions and posted what I consist banter the posts have been received well by some posters and even by some of the other eds but I respect that he does not like them so I don't push my point too far.
I huge differences of opinion with 2 well respected and long standing posters in jred and red man. But I realise they are good guys with opposite opinions on some aspects but they have never been OTT with me nor have I been with them its just good clean debate and banter.

I must say that I've never really seen anybody go what I would consider to be over the top (although that may be down in some part to moderation by the editors) .
As you point out; some of the editors seem happy to discuss the goings on at the club whereas others seem to get annoyed at the topics we choose to discuss - but in lieu of any rules or guidelines on this site it's very difficult to have a discussion without potentially annoying one of the editors.
I've been chastised for discussing our overall performances this season, individual match-day performances, the manager's tactics and dealings with the press, completed and potential transfers and a whole lot more. Beyond those things I really don't see what else there is to talk about.

No one goes looking for a fight or an argument with Ed002. He does that all by himself and has this incredible ability to take the liberty of what I consider abusive language and completely out of line if you ask me. I assure you he would never do it face to face with anyone, well at least not with me anyway.
I have stopped posting because i was quite offended by the whole thing and he seems to take turns on every posters and eventually no one is safe. I am not sure how someone who does not even support the club can pass judgement on every fan that is currently unhappy and hence we are toxic, because the people are doing such a swell job at the club evident by our football.
Guys like you might think it is okay to trade off transfer info against verbal abuse but many including myself do not care one iota for inside info on transfers if it means getting abused in a public forum.
It is good thing to share information and knowledge with people but with a degree of humility if you ask me and not if it means talking down to everyone.
KEEP the info for all i care personally as does it really matter. we can't even influence any of it. The club will buy and sell and hire and fire people, the only thing i am interested in is watching good football and the club being back along the elites of Europe.
Neither fresh or Beast said anything out of line and were both walking on egg shells trying to ask for him to go lightly but it actually goes from bad to worse when people try that including myself. I might not agree with either of them on many things but i also do not agree with them getting a public verbal lashing.
Besides that the site is great and greta banter.
This will probably not get posted LOL.

I did not think it was an unreasonable ask. As I said above I enjoy debating certain topics with you and others that don't share my view but I like to think weer do it in a respectful manner for all to read.
Red seven I agree without some guidelines is hard to decide what to write. But common sense tells me that if one of the eds object then it's time for me to drop it.

What I find amazing is that so many people disagree with a request for us to be respectful to all concerned. Some people just don't know when to shut up.

This is ridiculous. GCU the reason why these eds get pissed is when posters keep on asking the same rubbish. Its not just this site itsprobably every single football site conn3cted with this one.
So you could underwtand ho2 many timea these guys go throught the same things. Not saying beast and fresh are wrong but the eds are are also not in the wrong.

Ken, have u missed something, I didn't read anywhere that posters are abusing each other, I don't see anything wrong with beasts or fresh posts, I just can't see any reason how this big argument started in the first place, it is a banter site banter page after all, I appreciate the information and input from all the eds, at the same time we need posters like fresh and beast, United supporters at the minute have to be some bit negative, cause the team and management are, of course we are going to question the club, we are one of the best football clubs in world football, so we should expect the best managers, top footballers, and we should be allowed question the negative manager and his ways, we spend some of our hard earned money going to matches, i travel from Ireland and stay in hotels and it isn't cheap, we buy jerseys, the club isn't much without supporters, we can all ask the odd stupid question, what about have a laugh move on.

I don't ever remember any of the other eds getting pissed off on our page. ed002 gets pissed with people over the smallest thing and sometimes you get the most unexpected harsh reply to as simple question.
I agree with RedSeven and hence stopped posting as there seems to be some sort of a rule what we can post now and not sure what is allowed and what is not.
Speaking about our performance is definitely not allowed as they are predominantly all rubbish and hence we are being toxic :)

I respect the info from Ed002, but like GCU, not at the expense of receiving a nasty, spiteful tirade for daring to disagree on something. I don't see why they always feel the need to resort to personal insults. It doesn't cost anything to be civil.
Shappy, I think you know, hand on heart, that Beast and Fresh are by no means nasty trolls. They've never been anything less than polite and pleasant in their posts, and I'll certainly not be ignoring them.

I do hope those two are allowed to carry on posting, though. It would be a shame if they were banned. Fresh's enthusiasm for new signings is legendary on here, though he's no longer the same now that we have his manic, skittles-eating little brother, Ronnie on the site. And Beast, sitting there with his tinfoil hat on, does more than most to generate discussion on here, and he cracks me up sometimes with his weird and wonderful theories.

Wow, I've just read the site and seems all hell has broken loose. I have never read any nasty emails from anyone and no one on this site has offended me. At the end of the day, it is people's views that matter and we must respect each others views otherwise, we might as well go back to the dark ages.
Beast, redseven or anyone else are fully entitled to their views and frankly, they are good posters. Likewise, with gcu, noucamp, jred and all the others.
I hope Beast, Gcu, redseven, and all the others posters carry on posting their honest views as that is all that matters. And I hope the Eds carry on doing the good work.
Beast, Redseven and GCU have every right to post without having to "dilute" their views or treading on egg shells.
