Disappointing not to get the win last night, but last night is the first time in a long, long time I actually got to the edge of my sofa in excitement! That made me happier than anything.

We should have taken out chances but give credit to Newcastle, they battled and in fairness deserved a point.

Rooneys goal was fantastic, however there is no way he should have got man of the match - for me Wijnaldum was sensational.

I too was on the edge of my seat watching the game unfortunately some of that was to shout at Fellani who was truly awful last night.

Stat released today showing in games where fellaini hasn't played were unbeaten. Take from that what you will but he is more season 1 fellaini than season 2 for me.

Agreed, the Premier League is all about dynamism in midfield now and Fellaini is just not that. I also constantly live in the fear he is going to get himself sent off at any point.

We need a strong commanding CB so Blind can slot into midfield when we need to control a game.

I can't believe that people still haven't addressed the elephant in the room when discussing Blind. We can all see it, but nobody has the guts to say it.

Daley Blind is a goat!

Not a goat in the basketball sense, but in the that is a capra aegagrus hircus erect on his hind legs sense. I've seen real goats in the flesh, so don't tell me it's just his facial hair or that he has a naturally bleating expression. He is a goat playing professional football and until we acknowledge this fact, there is no point in discussing anything else.

To be fair Danny I have seen those fainting goat videos, and they are probably more useful on a football pitch than Fellaini.

Come on then chaps. which other footballers look like animals?

We should stick Fellaini at centre half!
