liverpool and city have both done a good bit of business with klopp and pep imo.

Pep wil give credence to City being a top club, Barca, Bayern and now City. It is a statement they are now up there with the top clubs. Players will want to play for him, I saw Neymars alleged quote. Wait until his quality of player rolls up at City.

I think people don't realise dynasty's fall and our time looks like it is behind us. Liverpool fell from grace in 1990 and it is happening to us. It only takes the wrong decision, the wrong direction and we have taken it. The white flag will never fly but in times before 1990 we got used to not being dominant and now have to again. What is frustrating is that it is our own decisions that have caused problems.

The next decision is going to be vital, unless it is wrong or too late.

Actually in Spain it is Real Madrid or Barca, sometimes peps Barcelona won and sometimes they finished second, in Germany it's Munich or its Munich so this year Munich will win.
In England it's always been one of four except this year where it could be one from six, so who knows.

City and Liverpool have done business, I agree. But Pep and Klopp are not the only two football managers in the world. Too many United fans (in my opinion, of course) are more concerned with lauding the decisions of the opposition rather than supporting their own team.

The green eyed monster really is at work.

What others do is beyond our control. What United need to is get their own house in order, and make sure we make the right decisions for US. Not be affected by City or Chelsea or Liverpool.

what man united do is beyond our control.
dont know what the issue is , pep and klopp are imo good managers in the same way messi neymar and pogba are good players .

i agree about many on here supporting other players more than there own tho but that's the nature of the site.

Jred, when I refer to 'our control' I mean United as a club, not us as fans. What 'we' do as a club is most definitely within 'our control'.

Pep may well be able to attract top players, but so should we when we are prepared to pay 300 grand a week. We have the buying power, but have just used it badly IMO.

betty
its hard to say, the top players will earn good money where ever they go.
the question is watching united this season would they pick united over the other top teams .

we have some good players imo but like you say fans always look at other players and get a case of the green eyes .

I think it's a bit naive and ignorant to think that our rivals signings and business and will not affect us.

These are the teams who we compete against, you have to measure yourself against them especially if they are leaving you in their wake repeatedly and nothing appears to be done to catch up.

I seem to remember the days that we signed players not only for our own needs but to stop them strengthening the opposition.

We are lagging further and further behind, I am a die hard fan and will never stop supporting this club, and I think it takes the piss when other people tell me what the best way of supporting is.
