I read that JM has requested to bid for Matic.
I am not sure if this is true or just rumours but feel odd that we are looking at him.
Isn't there any other good or similar midfielder out there? Why do we really need to get him? If Willian I can understand as I think he is quite outstanding. Matic? Hmmm not so sure. If we keep on buying (if unnecessarily) then are we trying to replace the entire first team? I do have some concerns here. I know that we still need some strong and key players to come in but aren't we overcrowded there?

What do you all think?

There probably is others out there similar, but Matic is a very good DM plus it weakens a rival.

Matic on form is an awesome player capable of shielding the defensive almost entirely on his own.

But I don't expect to see him in a United shirt any time soon. Chelsea are unlikely to be prepared to sell to a rival, and Matic was apparently one of the players who let Mourinho down at the start of this season leading to Mourinho's sacking.

Matic certainly hasn't looked anywhere near top form this season, which has lead to him losing his place to Mikel.

Personally I think there are more appropriate and more attainable targets out there.

CTR it weakens us?!?!? The bloke stunk the club out last year he was terrible! Who ever we sign or just replace him with loftus cheek we be a lot stronger. Hope he does go he and Jose got tension and before you know it Jose has lost the whole Utd dressing room.
