I think it is imperative more than ever that we all get behind the manger over the coming months because I think there might be some sticky issues behind the scenes especially if Rooney is dropped.

It is clear to me that there are a few players at the club that need outing because they are just not up for it; and some of those might try to undermine the boss because they feel aggrieved that he has the temerity to root out those who are not 100% passionate about wearing the shirt.

The Northampton player who scored the penalty was in tears, because he scored against United. That really hit home to me. Some of those wearing the shirt clearly don't understand what it means to to be part of such a great club.

The media are going to do their utmost to stoke the fires; and us fans must look past all the rubbish and back the manager; for his task is probably greater than we all expected; and it is clear that there are elements of the club that are mired in the dark days of the past three years.

I for one am 100% behind the manager, and any action he takes in order to get the club back where it belongs, even if that means upsetting the apple cart.

I'm going to just trust my eyes, rather than what the media say. They show they are biased, either their former club loyalties shine through or their friends escape any sort of criticism. I'll support UTD as much as always, but I'm afraid the manager has to earn his unconditional support. Trust, respect and backing are things that people should earn, not be handed out on account of wishful thinking in my book.

We could be playing in League 2 and I would still support the club, it doesn't mean we should praise and accept whatever dross we keep getting served up. I'm not afraid of wanting and expecting better, the club is underachieving and so are many of the players as well as the manager at the minute. No harm in calling a spade a spade, so long as we don't boo whilst they play.

I'm with Beast on this one, Jose gets paid a lot of money to make the big decisions, it's still early doors but they have to preform better on the pitch, how he gets that done i don't care, and I'm sure Jose's is big enough to turn it around and make those dicisions regardless of what the press will say. Time will tell and points make prizes.
