Have any of you noticed that a lot of the posts after the game have been moved to the other page on here? Last time this happened was during the lvg out era right around the time the toxics became the most popular word on here.

Like everyone else I hoped for better but what we are getting now is realistically what should be expected. We are talking about a club that sat on its laurels as rivals caught up. SAF was good but he let the club rot at the core imo he stayed on a few seasons too long what we have now is the symptom of almost a decade of stagnation.

For those calling for the manager to be sacked all I can say is stop acting like spoilt brats who want their candy right this moment come what may. It's embarrassing have some pride and go melt down in private. This club has been standing still for far too long. It has made too many mistakes like appointment of moyes after Fergie. And then the panicked buys of good but not good enough players.

Now because we are not Liverpool we might fix our issues in a season or two. But if the toxics who have no idea what the issues really are and are only interested in short term bragging rights have their way we might as well sack Jose and appoint souness.

Wow these posts this morning are getting ridiculous.

Theres got to be an in between, you can't just lump people who criticise mourinho as "spoilt brats" who want him sacked. Just like there are people who see no wrong in any decision he makes.

Yesterday his subs were poor and contributed to us dropping two points. he's allowed to be criticised imo, this isn't 1950's ussr or maos china, he's not our dictator lol.

Also this revisionism on the state ferguson left the squad in is ridiculous as well, we won the league in his last season, so he can't have left us in such a bad state.

Fair enough there were some players on the wrong side of 30 but he also left some very talented youngsters who for one reason or another haven't made the step up. How is that his fault?

1 - Nobody is calling for him to be sacked, give me one example.
2- So if observations aren't deemed appropriate for the positivity police we should just keep quiet?
3 - Several hundred million spent should be enough to fix a first team squad, our squad is far better than many other teams performing better - Jose had ample time before he officially took over and it looks like Giggs is in charge.
4 - It may be a mess behind the scenes, but i'm sure other clubs are messier, how many managers have Chelsea had, how are they doing?

I'll keep stum for a while with my negative assessments as clearly my "toxicity" is not what is wanted, but I assure you the problem is easily fixable. It starts with the manager acting like he wants to work here and the players will fall into line when they realise better is expected of them and are held to account by a manager not preoccupied by going to war with the media - never have I hear the word "luck" mentioned so much as now, it's pathetic.

We have a great opportunity and because a lot of our fans are used to being served up crap, they all of a sudden are demanding the rest of us be grateful for anything but crap, or even a different type of crap. Sorry we should be expecting a lot better despite the problems, stop attacking realistic posters and focus on critiquing the job being done. Most people come on here to talk about the club, not other posters!

Beast you are wasting your breath. Time will tell.

Beast,

I think the problem most people have is that you think your opinion is the right one, as you just proved by saying your the 'realist', whereas your opinion is no more real than the rest of us, we can all make our own minds up on what we think and most people don't agree with you, so maybe your opinion is just that, an opinion.

I certainly feel like you are preaching your opinion and trying to get everyone to agree with you, and when they don't you just tell us all your opinion is real and we are just too optimistic etc. You are welcome to your opinion, but we don't need to hear it 3 times a day and certainly don't need to be told that your opinion is more 'real' than anyone else's.

GDS2 - I speak my mind and get blasted for it, so feel the need to respond and defend my views. This is why it sounds like repetition, because some people read half of what I write and then criticize, am I meant to just leave it stand when they fail to grasp the simple things I say? I am right more than I am wrong, but that counts for nothing on here, because too many people have memories worse than gold fish! Or they twist what is being said by myself, forcing me to defend the lies.

I have stated 100% proven facts several times, but then get blasted. How can so many people disagree with 100% facts? I have said what Ed002 has said about Mounrinho, yet I am frequently called Toxic, how ironic!

Never have I said that LVG was the benchmark for performances, yet lots of people come on saying I am contradicting myself because I am not happy despite a slight improvement in performance of late. It's still not good enough. Never have I said Jose should be sacked, despite numerous people saying I want him sacked.

As Maze says I am wasting my time, some people on here clearly don't deserve my insights, stay in your bubbles if you like, but I take no joy in speaking the hard truth, I just don't like people peddling BS and wishful thinking to try and hide from reality.

But don't worry, it will "click soon" no doubt after a few hundred more million and a further lowering of that ever decreasing standards bar!

Almost mate, but then again you say 'stay in your bubbles'', it's not even crossed your mind that you might be jumping the gun, lacking any patience and not helping by being like that, just that the rest of us are stupid for not agreeing with your negativity.

I think maybe you need a break as you seem to be getting a bit upset, you can't expect to post what you constantly post and not have some fans of the club arguing with you.

I'm frustrated because you criticise me for hammering my views home, yet don't read what I say. I'm saying "IF" things don't improve he will be in trouble, to some of you that means I want him sacked now. Waste of time.

Have you heard the phrase 'less is more'? Can you blame people for not reading the same thing over and over when it always starts with a negative.

DSG it certainly isn't revisionism. Fergie was a fantastic motivator and had a great team behind him to train the players. If you look at the squad the Fergie left pretty much over half of the players were on the wrong side of 30. Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Scholes, Giggs, Carrick, Fletcher, Berbatov, RVP. Then you have the players who were never United quality in Buttner, Jonny Evans, Anderson. Along with Young, Valencia, Nani and Kagawa who never really seemed to perform to their best. Perhaps the fall from grace wouldn't have been too bad if Moyes hadn't cleared out the entire backroom staff but realistically Moyes needed at least 7 starters imo.
