If I can analyse a little bit, Arsenal clearly still have that soft underbelly, 2 wins from 18 in Manchester and Merseyside alone. Spurs so heavily reliant on Kane and similar to Arsenal tend to not travel to the top teams well, Poch teams including Saints have a habit of tiring out last quarter of the season. Liverpool and City will blitz teams at times but woeful defensively with managers that seem to refuse to adapt, I honestly think United have best all round and balanced squad to challenge Chelsea but have most likely fallen to far behind, as for Chelsea can they keep that energy with that system going all season. An interesting new year ahead.

Good assessment. I think we still have a chance if we keep this progress going. Chelsea are dodgy at the back imo and rely very heavily on a couple of players - that have shown they can have major dips in form (Kante is the exception but he is only human-ish) . Bound to have a dip and I think the Italian will upset a few by ripping into them when the pressure heats up.

I'm optimistic, especially if we make it 4/ 4 over the next couple of weeks. Bring back that fear factor and confidence will ooze from us.k

Would help if the rivals didn't scrape wins like the Scousers just did! How bad were Everton, just hoofing every loose ball and couldn't even do that properly.

Under pressure yes but there wasn't much quality in the end product from your lot. Bring it to Old Trafford and normal business will be resumed, with you lot getting beaten by United. Hope your fans bring a '3.5 years' banner in too, marking how long it's been since we won the league!

The way Liverpool grinding results this season, it looks like it will be between them and Chelsea for first 2.
But for this season I say 3rd is the least we should get with this squad and our rival form.

Chelsea dodgy at the back? they look the most solid unit in the league! Conceding 11 all season, 2 in the last 11 games.

Yes - but they haven't been properly tested. Kante is the key, if he misses games they will be exposed back there. Cahill is a disaster waiting to happen and I don't think Courtois is as good as made out either.

I genuinely think that there are deficiencies to be exposed.
